In the above example, it is easy to see that access can be restricted.
The owner wants to be able to go everywhere with her single key. Her assistant is trusted with most of the managerial aspects of the business but doesn’t need to go into the lab or the warehouse after hours. No one else needs access to the owner’s office, and the storeman and driver don’t need access to the main building at all. Should the owner wish to grant access to the lab manager to access the warehouse to check stocks, it is possible to do so by cutting a new key and minor manipulation of the warehouse lock.
There are many examples where organisations have sensitive areas to which they would like to limit access. A restricted master key system is able to do this through manipulation of pin combinations within the locks that enable more than one key to open the same lock. Since you are able to select which keys can open which locks, you can control who has access. Accurate Locksmiths has designed and managed systems from a couple of keys all the way up to thousands of keys on thousands of locks.
