Bring in your key, and we’ll match it. We have a database of templates for most major car manufactures. Most automobile keys are coded which means that from this database we can cut new keys to the original code – not to the worn key that isn’t working as well as it used to. Once you have had a key cut with us we can also give you a code so that for next time if you lose your key or break it, we won’t need to pull out the door locks or ignition to remanufacture it for you.

If your vehicle gets broken into or you damage your ignition you can bring in a second hand ignition and we will strip it down and match it to the original key so you don’t have to have separate keys for the doors and ignition. In addition to this we can also supply you with new ignition cores and door locks.

Do you own a newer vehicle with a special key?

If you are driving a late model car, it is likely to have a transponder.

A transponder is an electronic device that talks with the car. If the codes exchanged are not recognised, the car will not start. We can produce transponder keys for most cars. (Note: Some transponder keys must be ordered direct from the manufacturer.) We recommend that you always retain a spare transponder key. If you lose your last key, you will have to go back to the manufacturer. That will take time and cost hundreds of dollars.
